Got this laser LZGN - 532nm 200mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer and there are SO many moving parts it is difficult to do anything. I know you twist the front part and find the smallest spot but unlike my red laser finding the focal point is not easy ! There is a 3ft long "small" part when focused all the way out (not infinity) and it is hard to find the spot that burns best due to the dot being EXTREMELY bright (safety goggles are on the way) any help ? btw

ITS A PAIN lol I accedentally took the lock out trying to change the battery :wtf: as for the laser w/o these problems  I will do a review if i get a camera for christmas but I do not have a lpm.

Re: How to focus green lazer ?

The ring/part to which the second line from the left points to... that's your focus adjustment... has a tendency to stick in my experience:)

It doesn't work really well on these lasers though... you may want to simply carefully take it apart and put lubricant all over the place.

Here are some pics I took a while back from one I had: http://s1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee465/InfinitusEquitas/150mW Green/

In my case the whole laser came apart without any tools. Take off the top part and you'll see how the mechanism works. If you intent to use it a lot, a bit of loctite on some threads and lubricant on others will make you very happy.

If you want to find a focus, point it towards the night sky. If it's very cold, blow into the beam. Works like a charm.

:twak:

Best wait for your goggles before you go EXTREMELY blind trying to burn stuff.

lol I decided that focusing was too much of a pain in the a$$ so I will either burn on infinity or not bother burning at all :D

Yeah, you really do need goggles to do it. Once you get them, you should be able to get it focused super tiny.
