Green module change from wires to spring?

Hey all
Looking to build another green laser and have a quick question on the green modules that come with wires. My last module had a spring
Can I desolder the wires and add a spring?
Is it the black wire to take off and add the spring and take off the red and leave it off as its case positive?
Just a bit unsure and didn't want to wreck anything

Yep, its case positive. Just change the wire on the end of the pcb with spring
