Looking for advice on where I can purchace a 100mw Green. Have played with Diode among other things. Also the various price differances for a 5mw makes me unsure about ordering a 100. Last week tried to order a 200mw and lazor glow refused to ship the pointer citing health and safety laws. For those who have exhausted the vast array of companies and forced
To mess around with Diodes to squeeze out the actual 5mw only to have it burn out just after a solid reputable company that ships gat quickly and has a decent size inventory of various lasors shipped per spec.

Side note, I have purchased 5mw pointers that had better distance
And brightness than the expensive 20mw, almost 10 times more expensive agreed <20 could mean 1 however would like to buy one that creeps up to the max without messing around pulling it apart especially if it's more expensive. I'm new to the forum so forgive my ignorance if any.

How could they be 95mw over spec? Regardless they do have amazing varieties. I'll order this as its about $300.00 cheaper than the one I was after. A 200mw 532 green, amazon aside is it worth the extra cash to pick up one that's lets say 500mw at spec, not sure how your able to determine the massive deveation from 5 to 100 but I'll find out and let you know. Thx again, you may have saved me a pile of money...

If you are going to get a more powerful laser, don't forget to buy and use safety glasses. One quick slip up with a powerful green and you can do permanent eye damage to yourself.

Lazerer.com is worth a shot when they are back up.
Their lasers are almost always overspec and ship fast.
You may also want to check rayfoss.com. Their lasers are usually up to spec, and the prices are great.

Oh, and all of these companies will ship to Canada, no problem. It just may take a few weeks because the laser would be coming from China.

Now you've given me more viable options, along with good advice. Amazon won't ship any of their lasers to Canada. Neither would the other site however I did Apprereate the effort.

Your links and info has saved me countless hours of scouring the web reading bias reviews and was finnaly able to make a transaction. I'll wait for the device
And really appreciate the help - advice.

I should have joined this forum before blindly looking at random
Pages offering cheap pointers at inflated prices. Thank you.

Laser not lasor, sleep deprivation. That was a bad typo considering I'm new to the forum...

Duly noted and thank you. As a starter ordered from Olike, and it's moving along nicely. As I track this will hope customs won't seize it in Canada. I live in a rural area about 20Km from a large city. Noting I'm not an idiot I exercise extreme caution when aiming into the sky or at a power line. Noting the area is mostly rural having two advantages. On a clear night I can see so much more depth and clarity and the acreages are about 3-10 on average. The question is as follows. I notice that when I point my 5mw into the sky, it seems to draw attention to the police helicopters so I don't use it anymore. Is responsibly pointing at night legal? I just received my 100mW pointer today from Olike (took 6 days to arrive) and would like to test it. Also does law encorcent bother with tracking down a few seconds of beam light at least 20km away always vertical. Can they even track a such use. For example I point it into the sky for 10 seconds and put it away. If the beam is spotted 30KM away and I've deceided to head into the house can this be tracked. I'm reading up on the laws and all I'm finding is news story's about functional retards purposely aiming at helicopters. I cant find anything as of yet that applies to responsible individuals that go out of their way to even avoid stars I don't recoconize.

Thanks for the goggle advice, I could have burnt my eyes if I had picked up a really powerfull device. Obviously I don't point at reflecting material but it's very easy to hit somthing that reflects back and odds are it would have occurred in my case. The cheapest 100mw Olike sells for around $100.00 (green 532). I guess having not advised to purchace googles this is probably a tad under spec 100 as there's no lock either. Very fast though. 6 days from China...
