Hi there..

I want to buy one 95mW green laser pointer from SKYlasers.com
I really like the new design and the laser seems very good manufactured.

Is there anybody who has one of the new SKYlaser and can post some pictures or write a short review? What would you recommend, the 95mW green SKYlaser or a 100mW E2 Evolution Fusion from wickedlasers.com

Greetings
NiclasW

I would recommend >>this<< which is cheaper and definitely going to be over spec (some have averaged in the 120s, I believe). It doesn't have a key switch like the SKY Laser, but you can buy one for $15 extra. The lens holder and optics kit is also a nice accessory, you can Youtube some videos of them I believe (otherwise, they're around here somewhere on the forum, I've seen them). The quality is top notch (CNI) and the divergence will be one of the best around. It's on sale only to the 8th, so pick it up quick!

Okay thank you.. But I really like the new design of the SKYlasers and would be ready to pay something more just for the design and quality. So I would be really pleased to see some pictures of this laser. Is there anyone who has one of the new SKYlaser?

I couldn't find any reviews or pictures for the new SKYlasers.

Yea, that's what I just said!

Though I can't really speak for either company, if you read around the forums, you'll soon find out that CNI lasers are top-of-the-line. Many manufacturers buy parts from them. That Nova laser really is the best deal out there right now (I heard the Opto's host is a cheapy, though they are hand-picked and tested to be the best of their kind).

But if you want to take the risk and go for the SKY laser just for the design, go ahead. =P I don't see any tests or anything, though you could easily find reviews for the Nova X-Series (which is also the same as the Dragonlasers Viper series, by the way).

If SKYlasers is really telling the truth about being 100% FDA compliant, wouldn't that also mean that after pressing the button, it has to have a delay period for the laser to turn on? I don't see it talking about that anywhere on the SKYlasers webpage; it could be a false claim.
