Hi I am going to purchase a 50mw laser with these specifications but I wanted to know what power battery will work well with this.http://laserpointerforums.com/images/smilies/thinking.gif

3) Working current: < 500mA
4) Laser shape: Dot
5) Dimensions: 12(dia.) x150 (L) mm

8)Operation temperature range: 20°C-35°C
9)Storage temperature:-10°C-50°C

1.5 volt Alkaline batteries or 1.2 volt Ni-mh rechargeable batteries will work.

Common sense tells me. Most likely that particular laser of yours is a pen style?

Don't want to be rude but please use your common sense. You need a couple of these batteries to produce the required voltage. 1.5 + 1.5 = 3 volts.
