First laser for guiding in the forest and star pointing

Well it seems as if a solid 10 mw will be right up my alley.. to start. Then I plan on either grabbing a 30 or a 50. Keep the suggestions coming if you have them and thank you everyone for your input. It is all really good information.

I looked at that apinex website, but did not see a 10 mw laser... If someone could give me a good recommendation on a good (and relatively inexpensive) 10 mw laser, through experience or through positive reviews, that would be awesome!

you should also buy NiMH with a "smart" charger (that detects when charge is full) cause low cost charger are batteries killers

please, can you tell me the burner "ranking" of wavelenghts? thanks!

Blu-ray is usually seen as the best for burning, although the color of what you're burning is important.
(i.e. If you're burning something violet, don't use a blu-ray, it'll just reflect)
