Haha Thanks guys ! :D

@EtherMagic actually it was really cheap! only 44$ for the kit and 18 for the module so only about 60$ !

I gotta say, for a total of $58 bucks that Beam looks Hulkish man!!! haha Have you tested the beam yet? It looks brighter then just a 30mW? The Laser itself looks very professional, GREAT BUILD MAN!!!

@WaterFace: Yea, imagine it at 200mW?!!! Would LOVE to see EzPk make a 200mW Laser!!! That Laser just may blind everyone in his neighborhood who looks at it, this guy can build!!! :D lol

Thanks for the info Flaminpyro I do have a small soldering iron but I just didn't think it would be an issue but now I see nothing is safe from the wrath of the soldering iron so I'll be a bit more cautious next time. I just ordered another I mean at only 7$ for it wasn't much of a loss.

@EtherMagic I haven't been able to test any of my beams because I have yet to acquire a meter :'( but hopefully soon. Haha and it's funny you mention that 200mW I actually just ordered one from susie(o-like) last night when I was ordering another 10mW. I got a chance to see scopeguy20's 200mW+ greenie and wow that thing was incredible I have to say. Very impressive. But it should be on it's way when it gets here I'll try to not let u down with my next build ! ;)

Holy shit he will have a 200mW lazor!!!

RUUUN!

JK dude, I'm really lookign forward to seeing your build of that!
What host do you intend to use? May I suggest 18650 host ?
DealExtreme: $9.90 Ultrafire WF-501B Philips Luxeon K2 White LED Flashlight (1*18650/2*CR123A)

I just ordered one of those for my 1W IR build, custom made to order.
If you want I can review on of those when it arrives! Don't hold your breath though, it is 'waiting for supplier' STILL!

Hahahaha your taste in hosts are impressive sir. lol but I'm afraid I might have beaten you to this one :p It's not exactly the same but from what I see the only difference is mine uses 3x CR123's so yours would be smaller. Have a look at my first blu ray build I finished a while ago ->

:D
Actually I'm very picky about hosts, and I always pick the cheaper ones that somewhat look good.

Too bad I cannot find anything good in local stores, so far I have been using some Duracell 5$ flashlight. Fairly easy to install all the electronics but they look kinda ugly.

Anyway, I am always looking for nice fancy hosts on DX, and almost all niceones are fairly expensive.
Currently I am saving up for this:

DealExtreme: $15.16 14-LED Flashlight 4-Pack (3xAAA)
Again, they do not look quite pretty but functionality is great,
It takes 3x AAA wich should make it perfect for any laser: 3x 10440 for bluray, or 3x AAA for red, or 2x AAA and a spacer for green.

Or I could machine a cylindrical spacer, and insert one 14500 instead of 3x AAA pocket, and power a greenie with it.

Possibilities are endless :D

Big batteries is what I prefer and this Ultrafire $10 host is very good for that purpose.
I plan to use it with 150mW O-Like module.

Maybe it's not the highest quality module but it's definitely best buy.

Hey EzPk Thats a real tight build you have there, Deffinetly gonna consider this host for a green build. I also checked out the Blu ray, and that also looks real good. Keep up the good work.

Yes indeed I can't wait to get that host you sent Ehgemus should be another really nice little laser. Thanks for the offer but I think I'm going to keep it like that haha make it a little different. Although I am interested in those blanks you make those could be very useful. But we'll have to see how everything turns out with my other builds that are also in progress before spending anymore haha. I've got the bug X_X !

@ndrew2505 - Thanks for the info ! but I was also wondering if I could shorten the spring enough to fit a cr123 because even the 30 mW eats batteries like candy and I don't have rechargables yet ...
