Oh my god I'm so psyched! I finally got my x65 today and the thing is amazing. Pops balloons and lights matches! The peak output is 90mW flat and the average is 81.4mW! Oh my god what a deal. So worth it. I'll post some beam pics after I get home tonight. Peace. :)

[EDIT] Make sure you buy safety goggles because this thing is extremely bright. I'm going to try to cut down on the usage until I get some.

Omg, 81,4 average? I really hope they pick out a nice one for me. Would love some pics and maybe a video.
How long did it take to arrive?
When you use goggles you wont see the beam and thats pretty much what I want to see.

Can you use it inside without goggles when just pointing around and use goggles when doing experiments like burning matches. I love lasers at night and everyone gets so impressed, most of the people here in Sweden barely dont even know that there is other colored lasers than red ones and so strong ones. I discovered it recently when looking at some cool laser magic video on youtube.

I have a video of it burning a match from a little over a foot away. It did take 6 seconds once I got the laser on the match head and it was painted black but I'm still super happy with it. I'll post that video and some balloon poppings soon. You could definitely use this without goggles when you're outside but I highly suggest using goggles anytime you're inside. By the way, does anyone know how many posts I need to make so I can link videos and pictures? Thanks.

Here is the best picture I have so far. Sorry it's only a camera phone.

Here's the best looking picture so far. I'm shining up a Gatorade bottle. When I actually did this the entire yard was filled with light.

And here is the diffraction grating Nova sent me for free with the laser:

I'm thinking of buying a x65 from Nova, aren't they the same power all the x65 or is it different between each laser?

It's different between each laser but you'll never get a laser from Nova that's under spec. You can expect around 75mW average (sometimes more) buying an x65.

I just noticed this. That is one amazing beam and considering it was taken with a camera phone...wow!!!
