DX 30 MW green laser cleaning help

ok i really need help i got something on the lens of my laser so now instead of a clean dot it in the center of specels (lost for a better word) so i looked onlin and it said to clean it with a moist Q-tip but it got a lil worse then reverted back to the original state. now before u say i had a crappy laser it was a clean dot when i first used it so now i feel horrible please help me out.

How did you get something on the lense? The q tip may have moved the lense so it's out of focus. Best cleaner is the lensepen.

and not just a regular moist q-tip a VERY VERY VERY lightly moistened q-tip with some alcohol on it. 91% or higher, you can find it in most stores. but go for a lens pen too! i wish i had gotten one earlier

I always start with that pressure duster in a can. Usually it's my pocket lint ;D
Poof and it's gone. Don't blow on it because forsure you will shoot a drop of spit on it

Then resort to more agressive methods. My older DX 200 required disassembly and lens cleaning inside and out - don't know why.
