I'm wondering if this would light a regular white-papered joint... it seems a bit like cheating that he's using a blunt (which is the color of a cigar in case you weren't aware)...

Also, it seems once you get into the multiple-watt range you no longer pop balloons, but air mattresses... sounds like an expensive hobby.

If you are not creating problems OF ANY KIND for yourself or others. You do not have a problem. But that is usually not the case. Alcohol is at the bottom with meth. and H and blow.

Agreed. The problem is that most addicts fail to recognize, or just deny all together, that the 'problems' that drugs have caused are indeed 'problems'. if that makes any sense...

Damn, we should all start going to LAA group meetings. Hi! My name is Igor, and i'm a laser addict.

You guys need to watch the movie “guys and girls guide to getting down”. Pretty funny, and informative (explains the limit of each drug with the basics of what to expect and how to act in a party environment). Anyway, Marijuana is considered to be a recreational drug, and so is Coke (snorted, not smoked – then is considered a schizophrenic drug) and alcohol (given the disciplined mind to remain a “functional user”). “Functional users” are people who can moderately (MODERATION IS KEY) use these recreational drugs and still function in society, aka keep a job, pay the bills, and stay out of trouble. But, like any other substance, can turn one to a fiending schizophrenic.

I suppose to characterize someone as a “pot-head” or what ever might be in the eye of the beholder, or the classification or judgment made from a 3rd party. It is obvious that %99 of the people here on LPF are complete LASER-heads and we abuse them to the border of schizophrenia! ;D

Otherwise, it's hard to classify drugs as something in this form and something else in another. I've seen people's lives ruined just from pot (full blown drug induced psychosis), while some actually can do almost everything from A to Z in moderation and lead a normal life. But the thing is, no one can know for themselves how it'll turn out untill it is too late (if it turns out bad).



BTW, Ace, i was so flooded with work (lecture at a conference, prototypes etc.), that i completelly forgot about our little arrangement. I'll write a PM now.

Drugs ,as everything where you play with your mind, follow the simple rule: If it can't take it, do not do it. You don't start driving nascar if you are blind, you do not become a psychonaut if you have some "issues" (or you might for a very short while, followed by a long long resting period). I've seen alot in my days but a few keywords pop into mind Moderation, Knowledge and saying No.
I agree that drugs can be easily categorized to 2 groups. 1st groups is Stuff You Might Learn From and the second one is The Thing That Consume You And Make You Forget. Always remember kids Knowledge protects (ww.erowid.org)

Also remember that addiction is addiction and you can be addicted to anything

I think he meant LSD comes from plants. Which it does, well partially. Ergot is a fungus that grows on the rye plant, and LSD is synthesized from ergot. Crazy stuff!

i used to do drugs too but ive pretty much been clean for close to a year, although i do drink pretty reguarly... and im not tonight.... sad sad!

its funny how the 2 legal drugs (tobacco & alcohol) kill more than any of the other drugs....

and the reason they are legal? they can be controlled! fda loves their money
