hello , i'm french , sorry for my english

hello
I own a laser 600mW 532nm "made in china" that do not light matches.
and such is the same brand rayfoss 200mW laser that lights the matches!
so that is exactly the same lasers! and probably the same manufacturer!
Why?

The host may well be the same, but the important part is not.

Inside is a green laser module, that is an IR laser diode shining at two crystals that turn the IR light into green light.

Those modules are very expensive to make in good quality.
Here is an example of identical looking modules with very different power outputs, and prices.

In short.
You got cheated.

yes , is focusable !
what is SPEC ?
i'm sorry , i'm newbie

under specification or over specification = under spec or over spec

if the laser outputs the advertised power or is under or over

SPEC = Specifications

In other words, there is no way it is ANYWHERE NEAR 600mw if it won't light matches. probably a lot less and you usually need to focus it to a pinpoint to get it to light matches. (But not with a 600mw one)

Matches can be lit at 60mW, so for a 600mW laser doing under 60mW, that would seriously be fucked up!
