First off I gotta say thanks to DTR for a good and quality diode and driver:D

I really gotta say thanks to ElectricPlasma for this absolutely wonderful host!!! This guy seriously does some amazing work and he made the host exactly how I wanted it. He even drilled the hole for the side switch for me:) I can't tell you guys enough about the quality of work he does and he is only getting better. I encourage you to look to him if you even need any custom hosts:san:

I kind of got caught up in the creation process so I forgot to take pictures:(
Here it is before assembly

Here it is after soldering, epoxying, etc.

The button lights up!:D:D

I gotta say that even though the stock lens gives a notsogood divergence, I kind of like it. I might try and learn how to de-can it later but for now it's gonna stay on. This build wasn't incredibly difficult but I am happy with it and I am glad I got the button to work:p

I hope you like it:D

Congratulations on an excellent new laser! Don't forget to add it to your signature.

I love the lighted switches, but I wish I could find one that was toggling. I don't like to have to hold down the switch to keep it on. The color of your 01T seems to be a nice minty green, which goes well with the switch. Definitely seems bluer than my 7475.

Sweet! +rep

I have been thinking about building one with the GBall intact, it really protects the emitter.

What is the bar size like at 15 feet or so?

The bar seems to be about an inch at 15feet or so. I will admit that it definitely could be a tighter focus, but since I didn't get it for burning or anything like that, it doesn't bother me to much.

Hey, there you go, nice job! Very happy that the switch worked out. Thanks for the compliments on my work, great to hear you like it. The green theme goes well with the host. :D

Build turned out great, +rep when I can!

It really is a nice minty green and I am happy with it because it's my first greenie that's over 80mW:D I saw some clicky/toggling ones somewhere on amazon I think but nothing in the sizes that are reasonable for a host.

Beautiful laser you've got there Ldb7, EP did a very nice job on the host, and that green LED really does compliment that 520nm beam!
:gj: to both of you guys!

That nighttime beam shot doesn't look like the beam is fanning out too much, nice! I don't see any fanning at all.

Does one axis seem to be focused well and the other normal divergence? Any kind of splash or anything odd? I have been wanting to build an 01T with the stock l nose on but wasn't sure what I would end up with. Any details about this would be great.

It seems almost as if the lens should be a millimeter closer to the emitter. I'll post more pictures tonight when it's dark out. Overall I really like the 01T and it actually burns better than I thought it would. I got it because with the stock lens it was almost $75 cheaper than the 7475. I may or may not decan it later on but I might just wait and get a 7475 as well:D

It looks good, my NUBM06 looked good with it's GBall intact, it was about 1 inch at 15 feet, however aesthetically the beam looked good and you can use an expander with the GBall intact or add an additional culminating lens then an expander.

Here's an old video of my NUBM06 with GBall intact and an expedient test expander setup.

I would test it with a sanwu 3X but I killed it :(

It seems you've killed quite a few diodes Red  I just got a sanwu 3X So I might be trying to rig up a way to use the expander on it sometime:D

It seems that my 01T has a little more splash and one axis isn't as focused as it would be with a G2. It does burn very well though, and has a nice beam profile at night!
