Hey ,

Just got two CNI OEM-F 1W rated 532nm laser systems , I paid 480 AUD for both systems with one laser outputting 1.5 Watts stable . The second laser had developed a low power output of 650mW stable .

The pictures are of the low power head running at threshold and full power . I hope to attempt to bring the laser back up to over its 1W rated power as it originally did around 1.5 Watts as the other is still doing .

currently with a brief look inside the head , the layout is pretty simple . The silver colourd block is the lens to focus the 808nm into the YVO4 followed by the KTP in its mount ( with no top ) then followed by the OC .

My current assumption is that there is a slight miss alignment in the head or that the pump diode is giving up but im unsure on which to go for first :/ . Im currently waiting on a LPM to arrive but before the laser was shipped to me a few days ago it was measured 650mW stable .

Pics ! :D

1.5w of 532 must be a great site.
Nice deal you got for both.

It definitely is :p

Looking at the beam The 1.5W is running in TEM01 at low power then jumps to 00 at high power .

The laser that's low power is running in what looks like TEM10 at full power of 650mW , This sounds like more of a alignment issues over dead/dying pump .

Today I messured the output , after a slight adjustment with the focusing lens on before the YVO4 the power is up to 850mW , but there is fluctuations on the way to that power .

I think it purely is a alignment issue

It does sound like an alignment issue in fact in that picture it looks like the KTP is sitting a little bit off, The output seems to be grazing the top/side of the crystal a bit, but it could just be camera glare.

That's what I thought too when I saw the first picture, looks like it is hitting the top corner of the slab. Can you confirm this, Ion?

Thanks for the reply , Ill take a look again soon and see if that's the case , currently I have the laser at 850mW stable with just lens adjustment , so next ill look at the KTP and go from there ,
