I have got my replacement Green baton 200mW laser from DX, so far, so good. Comparing it to my Red 200mW burner also from DX, seems the red burns better from a much further distance by far.

I think half the problem is because the green is so much more senstive to the eye then the red laser, to get a great sharp dot for burning is harder to achive on the green.

With my red laser to get a smaller point for burning is easier.

I understand Bluray also has a much smaller focusable dot, because Bluray and red are a lot less senstive to the eye, this certianly helps achving a much smaller dot, so much easier to focus as they appear less brighter then the green.

My green burns great, dont get me wrong, but think red and Bluray are better burners, in part to being much eaiser to focus to a finer dot then green.

Your right about that.

Use the red one for burning..............................
the blue ray for the beauty & fluorescing objects,
& enjoy controlling that bright green beam to the stratos! ;)

If you're doing what i think you're doing you get goggles FAST! You're not supposed to stare at a 200mW tiny green dot. :-/

You can look at the dot ok can't you? Like when it is on an object.
I'm not talking about pointing it in your eyes though.
