I probably should have waited. Serves me right for being impatient!
Anyway, I think what I bought should have more umph than the DIY route/O-like modules, so I'm not that cut up about it. What are the chances that I'd get an O-like module capable of 250mW+, with IR filter? Obviously there's no guarantee that my SL 200mW will do that either, but I think it probably will, based on the SL laser reviews I've seen.
On another note, I just got my DX "true 50mW" green, that I ordered a couple of weeks back, and it's not bad IMO, although I have nothing to compare it with, apart from my <5 mW 650nm. Anyone think its worth a review? I haven't seen a review of the DX "true 50mW" green yet.
I also ordered a bunch of black balloons for some fun
