Same, mine came wrapped like crazy..
Mine is the lp 532 80mw
Link- LP 532nm 1-150

I am now just waiting to recieve the invoice in the mail so i can ship it back

Ah, the pen style. I am not much of a fan of pens so I only have their torch size and I love it.

Yup, it seems the pens may be kind of problematic. This is the 3rd or 4th time I'm reading about someone having a problem with a Skylasers pen specifically.

Exactly. I'm thinking they make better torches than they do pens. There goes my thoughts of grabbing a 150mW pen from them. I will however still default to them for their torch style lasers.

Yeah, I think I'm going to revise my order... get more of the host style lasers, and no pens.

Also the hosts with all the safety features look so professional, definitely no mistaking one of them for a cheapo pointer
