I use the exact same combo, so yes. Don't forget a charger and a pair of safety goggles.

That it doesn't automatically switch off as soon as the batteries are fully charged. So don't leave them in during the entire night or something, but stay with the charger so you can remove the batteries once they are full.

You could buy some other charger from DX with the same charging voltage and current and with protection, but then you'll have to make a spacer for CR2 size yourself. I use this one with a custom spacer: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1236

Spacer = piece of metal so the contacts on the battery make contact with the contacts on the charger

A spacer can be anything that conducts electricity.

And yes, technically you need goggles for any laser over 5mW. Obviously, the risk increases with the power of the laser. So you can get away with using no goggles for a 10 or 20mW when used carefully, but most likely not for a 200mW. The risk of getting hit by a nasty reflection is too high. Especially because the DX200 is mostly used for burning stuff, which means looking at the dot at close range. You need goggles for the wavelength range of red, options are:

They are, especially when compared to a relative cheap high powered laser like the DX200 red. But remember you only get 2 eyes that preferably need to last a lifetime. :)
