Anybody Used this host yet?

I took a chance and ordered a couple of these (I was ordering a bunch of other stuff anyhow, no matter how many times I remind myself of past experience I still get bitten by the "cheap Chinese Laser bug" every now and then...) - looks like it should be a pretty easy swap for one of Susies modules, anyone out there use one yet? (I don't want to order a couple of hundred dollars worth of modules if the host won't work with them, on the other hand I don't want to wait for the host, THEN wait for the modules, etc etc net result lasers by Christmas)...

Thanks in advance for any input!

Looks like it should be an easy swap out for one of Susie's modules. If you would order one of these, you would get to keep the laser if it wouldn't fit, but if it would, I would let you keep the 50mW module and take the host alone, if you would pay for shipping.

Funny you should mention that laser - I have (6) of those in the order, too (I have been selling the LED Shoppe 50mW pointers at our shows for awhile, but wanted to offer something that had a little different "look" this time around) ...

I'm leaning towards that Romisen as an easy swap (on the site, the pic of it where it's partially dissasembled shows that it's a really similar setup) but the other one may or may not come apart easily, etc - what I'll do is pull both of them apart once they arrive (my order was just over $300 so they are sending it express for me, should have it late next week) and let you know what I find, I decided today to go ahead and order from Susie anyhow so sooner or later I'll have some solid answers for both of us!

(If the host you like would work, I'll save one for you and we can work out the details then, OK?)

those are the l-c030 from DX, also mislabeled on DX.
I have one sitting ni front of me right now, and its a great sturdy host.
Mine has some problems, but its just mine, everybody else's works fine, and when mine works, it works great.

would be a great host, and the module would be a very easy swap.
I can take the module out and even focus it whenever i want/need to.

My module AND my housing both have slight manu defects which, when combined are cauing me some problems.

I don't have that specific one, but i do have another romineson, and from what i hear, they pretty much all have easily removable modules.

(The one shown at the pictures from dx isnt the one I got in RL , its exactly that one shown at SZW)
Swapping the module is EXTREMELY easy and also Aixis modules do fit ;D I am to 99% sure that O-Like modules will fit ;-)

Wow - Thanks for the rep points, guys - now all I need is for you to come over and extol the virtues of my laser addiction to my fiancee (who sometimes isn't as open-minded about lasers as the rest of us...) : :

BrewCityMusic- I actually got a heatsink/battery/host deal with jake21, but I'll let you know if something doesn't work out. For now, I've got a host lined up.

Just an update (not trying to keep a dead thread alive...) - I recieved an Email late last night confirming the order was being filled from an actual person (or at least it appears that way) so unlike most Chinese suppliers it looks like szwholesale.com is actually staying in contact so far, which although it has no bearing on quality, etc at least shows a higher level of customer service...

Keep your fingers crossed - MAN it sure would be nice to find a decent supplier of hosts and cheap lasers, even if the minimum order is $200...

Looks like it has a pretty good heatsink for modifications, though I hate the side button

I ordered one of those laser that u did and still waiting for it hope it works fine! its: (L-ZX-B01) 50mW.
