Does anyone make an affordable "real" 150mw pen style pointer that uses 2 AAA batteries?

Define 'affordable'. $100? $200? $300-400?

And remember, there is almost always a direct correlation between price and quality. More you pay, better you get :)

Sorry, I should have stated a price for "affordable". I would consider under $300 a good deal for a true 150mw greenie pen style pointer. So far I havn't found one that "affordable" yet. Most are far more money. :'(

IF you find a true 150mw green for under $300 let us know here, I didn't know they exist; happy hunting.

For $300 you could get a 125mW from NOVA that will be overspec. But a good quality 150mW for $300... I've never seen one...

I just found the discount code for LPF members at Nova Lasers. That makes the price even better. Cool!

You will really like the x-series. They are great lasers, very powerful, and nice sleek look. Just use safety goggles to protect your eyes because that laser will do serious eye damage without! Welcome to LPF btw, nice avatar ;D

I just placed my order for the X-125. It was out of stock though. Hopefully they get some more in soon.

Well that's a bummer, I thought they said the X125 would always be in-stock; meaning they kept tons of them on the shelf....did they say how long before they replenish them?

I didn't "talk" to anyone at Nova. I ordered online. There was nothing posted about the backorder time.

I have the Nova x150 and I absolutely love it. It only outputs 157 on Average but I've heard of units that put out +10-15 mW than what they're advertised! I just didn't get as lucky.

So I'm with those who said get an X-125.
