Is there anywhere that actually has a 5 - 10mW green key chain pointer that runs on a single AAA battery? There is one in the B/S/T forum I know but getting a price out of the seller is near impossible and the other ones I found run on small watch batteries which last about 10 mins. With a AAA one I can use rechargeable.

you could buy a sandstone module put it in a leadlight and use a 10440 battery (i think it usually takes 2 AAA) and have a big spacer its 5mW

plus the one in the BST section you have to order a minimum of 500 of them lol! ;D

That's not what im looking for though, I want something about the size of those red keychain pointers and I don't want to have any of these 10 digit long numbers that I can never remember to power it. Plus I have rechargeable AAAs.

If someone found a tap that makes the inside thread for the battery cap on a leadlight (i would sell you one) then a susie module and a 10440 battery for a nice mini leadlight.

Why not use 2 AAAs insead of a 10440 and a spacer? A spacer is basicly useless space and weight.Mind aswell cut it.
As for the original question, I thought DX has them, but I only found 1xAAA red lasers. Must be remembering wrong. :-/
