I just ordered an O-like 150mw 532nm green laser module and I was wondering what are the best battery choices for this laser module for maximum mw output as well as lasting longer? Can I use 2 AA lithium Enegizer batteries that would be 3.4 volts and around 2500ma plus on the amperage side, that should last the longest right? I have heard of people using cr123 batteries...what about a fully charged 18650 battery at 4.2 volts, that should be the longest lasting and rechargable....Somebody please let me know if you have experience with this module and use it for a burning laser. I don't want to damage the laser module. Also the "spring" is negative...and the case is positive? Yes or no?

you can use the ff; this worked with me,

either a CR123a 3.0v or 3.6 or 3.7

2 AAA batteries rechargable or not

2 AA batteries rechargable or not

1 10440 battery (3.7v)
