So hopefully, in the next few weeks. I will attempt to build a laser my self.
For reading the mV of the test load, would this be a good multimeter?

Micro Center - Autoranging Pocket-Sized Digital Multimeter

I can get it for $19.99 not $29.99

I want a auto ranging meter due to my inexperience with not ever using one. Other than to test batteries and AC outlets.

Would this be easier to use?

Maybe I should ask if this would help in reading the mV off the test load?
Or would a traditional DMM be more accurate.

Thanks

i guess i will still go for the DT series (DDM)
but it seems that this multimeter is fine too,

I was just wondering, if their is any draw backs to a auto ranging multimeter?
Like less accuracy?

But thanks matrixcs, I will go pick this one up today.

I got one from DX for $10. It's VERY GOOD. Does everything and stays accurate.
