Could just somebody that want to dump a bunch of them for whatever reasons and just wants to cover the postage and handling---would be very uncommon so I doubt it--for the same amount of work listing a shipping he could get a higher price so...???

Is interesting the seller is from Wylie,Texas.
I had to google that town to see if it was a real town and it is. lol

Yeah, I can see someone dumping a bunch of stock for cheap if they're having trouble moving it. Selling it at a loss is better than having it sit on a shelf. This doesn't seem like that though, it's not a product that'd be particularly hard to shift for a reasonable price, or at the least a lower loss.

Time will tell, but I think it'll turn out the same way as those RGB modules a few of us purchased.

This has the same picture as a Laser called the THOR H Series Laser for 59.00(its on sale). On LaserPointerStore.com
https://gyazo.com/7465e2b2994ec5e52f5d5d8abee709d4
I'm pretty sure its a scam since that laser has that picture, and that picture belongs to THOR H Series Laser

That host/name is very common. It's not an LPS specific product. Loads of legitimate sellers offering these or something very similar, although many of them make up fake specs and jack up the prices or are outright scammers.

It's a rip-off of the Spyder series lasers from Wicked Lasers, assuming they didn't steal that design from someone themselves.

Update: Description for item said they would ship within 12 hours. Has been over 36 hours and they haven't even accepted the payment yet (therefore I cannot cancel on ebay), that combined with the fact that he has only 3 feedbacks ,all from the same guy is sketchy. Most sellers will contact you when they receive payment or at least accept it.
I canceled the order through PayPal and got a refund. I would not buy from this seller. Do not recommend.
Side note, Be careful buying IR filters from eBay. The ones I got may block ir but they block about 20-30% of everything else too.

That's an all consuming statement about IR filters on eBay. I bought some about four years ago garranteed to pass 98% 532nm light and block 97% of all 808nm and 1064nm IR radiation. I've used them on builds for a long time and haven't noticed what you are claiming. Many of these are sold with specs, so I think it is not fair making a blanket statement like that.

We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Center to help resolve any problems you may encounter.

WHICH differs from the reply the OP got...no idea of what motivates people to run these..
more when I hear back.. also a no-reply:

ok update..
I filed for refund at FEEBay , they said no...and they sent me to PooPal...they wont refund from every seller.
Had to do some hoop=jumping but FINALLY got it cancelled completely at both. (dial=up ISP makes everything super slow) I will admit I should have heeded the advice as it took A LOT of my time and I am pissed at the scammer who jacked that account...
I DO have a ppal address but not sure if that is the 'attempt' scammer or the account holder who got his listing jacked.

the pp/email looks familiar "??????(at)163.com... seen that before. hope this ass is not a member here..if anyone wants the complete addy PM me. payback is deserved.

I was racking my brain trying to see what 'he' hoped to accomplish....then...duh !MY PP address! PW is changed already and other changes will come.
BTW an old scam keeps coming around ... you are told some 'unclaimed money' is due you. $40 in my case...--from an afaik legit site claimittexas.org and my friend gave me a claim number-- not sure how he got all that coz the #did not work mfor me--I had to fill out many forums and wait for reply & they left me w/ another claim number and now two days later no reply--THEN I went all dumbass and searched my name and 'unclaimed $40' no real close hits but one looked 'official' boy was I wrong..AFTER I gave my name and zip and left to wait for reply I THEN searched them to find MANY complaints --rip off reports average rip was ~$75 they replied they found my money just click next-- no way. AFAIK they charge EVERYBODY $24.95 to help you get yr $$ . W/ NO promises.

how can they keep scamming/

Unclaimed Money Discovery.com Complaints | Scambook

I am betting your could make up ANY name and they would say you are owed money..try it1
