Wicked lasers, Sith model

Am i the only one thinking that their new laser the "Sith" is the most gimmicky laser ever invented? From what i gather its pretty much 2 Arctic 3 lasers attached to make what appears to be...a double light saber. Not only is that totally pointless but the beams are the same power as the Arctic so if both are on, it would be very dangerous.
