Where to find a long open can diode for my project

Hi. am new to this site but not to electronics... I am sorta new to lasers though.

I am upgrading my dilda and am getting a adjustable micro-driver but need a long open can diode that puts out around 300-400mw. I have searched all over the place but haven't found what I'm looking for.

I mean I've found a few sites that sell diodes.. but they aren't too specific. Could one of you kind folks please nudge me in the right direction?

It would be so greatly apprecited. This forum is great and I have been reading and learning for a long while now.

there must be a place that I can purchase the diode in question.

the open can output is 250mW-300mW
the open can come from lpc-815 sled
to buy lpc-815 sled look at BST

I ordered a adjustable micro driver allready assembled from a website stone something. I can't remember..

I also ordered a 20x 815 sled. thanks bud for the help.

With the 3.6v batt's and the new driver and sled you think I can push 280+ mw? like the guy did in the megadidla thread>?

or is there a driver that can handle more I can put in the dilda?

Is there another diode I should be looking for? for instance.. What I want is something that can do 350-400+mw.

What diode would support 400mw and what driver would I need to support it. and could it fit in the didla?
