And btw, please don't forget to buy safety goggles
Check out this thread so you be aware how dangerous can it be
laserpointerforums.com/f53/hit-eye-1000mw-445nm-blue-laser-69469.html

For the goggles, I would suggest you go with these
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles
This will reduce the intensity of 190-540nm laser light by a factor of 10,000 or more, so if you have a 10w blue laser, only 1mw would pass

This is a choice for a cheaper price
FIT-S OVER RX AMBER SUNGLASSES *BLUE BLOCKER GOGGLE *LASER TAG UV EYE PROTECTION | eBay
A member here tried them, he said they only allowed 1mw to pass from 700mw laser

Careful there OP, these guys are just looking out. With 7 posts (I know I'm not much better) everyone here has to take you for your word that you know what you're doing, for all they know you're a 14 year old kid with very generous and oblivious parents, and the last thing we need is someone getting in trouble or hurt thanks to careless and a suggestion from these great forums.

If you're looking to burn, the question is what and why. If you can guy a 500mw green you can definitely get a high power 445 that will do the trick. The folks in the BST threads can certainly help.

And as for the "what will burn better" question, perhaps I could use some educating as well. I was under the impression that while yes, lower wavelength means that a given photon carries more energy, isn't 1W of delivered work the same regardless of color? Doesn't wavelength only matter as far as the absorption properties of the material hit? As in a 1W blue would burn green paper better than a 1W green, but the 1W green would be better on blue paper? I know that's an oversimplification, but isn't that the case assuming low IR from the green?

To be simple and to the point. 500mw of green will burn better than 200mw of violet.

This is common sense, as stated above 500mW is obviously going to be more powerful than a 200mw laser. It is like asking which is faster a v6 car versus a v12.
