What's the wavelength of pure blue?

Obviously there can be color shift due to differences in brightness, not to mention color environment, body temperature, etc., but I'm going with 460nm.

447nm is indigo, except in a laser of more than 1mW, when it will shift towards blue because of Bezold–Brücke. (Bezold?Brücke shift - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

473nm is part-way between blue and sky blue, which is something else altogether.

I chose 460 as a nice "mid" blue. 450 is more "cobalt" blue, and 470 begins to me to have just a bit of cyan added, but still a nice color.

Of course, ALL visible single-spectral-line colors look good to me!op:

I voted for 460nm... I personally think 445nm is to dark.
