What diode is this

What kind of diode would this have in it?

and what am i looking for in a burner to get the best diode? im looking for brightness not just burning...

Then you'll use a long open can that can be found in either a 20x sony or pioneer.

Those Lite-On burners have been known to have some wierd diodes. They are sometimes rectangular shaped and impossible to install into an AixiZ housing.

These are some good ones though, with the 20x diode. Bright and powerful.

Sony

The Sony diodes are real easy to harvest. All you have to do is scrape of some glue (hey, it ryhmes! ), and the diode pops right out.

Pioneer

I personally recomend the pioneer diodes, they are a little bit harder to harvest. But they are as powerful (and bright) as hell!
