Sorry about this, I know I asked for this before, but I seriously forgot which forum. WL or LPF. Well can someone tell were this laser comes from, other than ebay.

Anyone know what power it is?

Buyer Beware! There's a seller to rival Spymode. Some people do walk away with good deals, but I've heard far too much bad to ever TRY buying from them again. And I say try based on my own personal experience with them, which was absolutely horrible.

Oh, and to answer your questions I think the first laser was said to be for 2J pulses, and I've heard the second was not actually 808nm so the DPSS claim is a scam. Not to mention that is not a single beam, its a diode array (as all semiconductor lasers will be in that power range), so keep that in mind if you're planning to use it for anything.

I concur with Psuedo on this (did I just say that ?!?! LOL !) But seriously - the diode array is something pretty scary - and with no practical use, either - I don't think you could get it hooked up during his 7 day return policy anyways - and if you remove it from the bag, you bought it. I had one - so I DO know that for sure ! Yeah - can you recall my fist few posts, with my "quest for power " ?? Yup - well, psuedo steered me right then, and he steers you right now, as well !

The pulsed Yag unit - I saw those somewhere else for $37.00. No good - barely suitable for experiments. Unfortunately, I cannot recall WHERE I saw them - but it was major distributor, and it was surplus "junk" that they had - perhaps that is where he bought them ? Unknown. I would steer clear of this guy unless you KNOW exactly what it is you are buying from him, and you don't mind taking the chance of if not being in workable condition - with little to no chance of returning the stuff.

Now - in all fairness, I DID buy a 5mw HeNe laser (637nm) with power supply from him for $45.00 - but I gave that to my daughters' science teacher to use for the class...it works fine. The rest - I would be cautious about - no joke.

Also - google his name - Chris Luebner....he was busted creating ecstasy in his apt - and threw ACID at the cops that raided his apt !!!
