I recently noticed an online distributor is offering a new paperback copy of Walter Koechner’s book, Solid State Laser Engineering for under $20. The ISBN numbers lists it as the 6th edition (2006?). Got a hardcover copy myself. I wasn't that interested in these as the lower priced ones have very high shipping prices making them cost as much or more than more expensive listings in total.

I didn’t realize that they changed such exorbitant shipping costs. I thought that it was a good price as it’s a fraction of the listed hardcover price. Oh well, no free lunch!!! Lolol! Take Care.

Yeah, you've always got to look at shipping charges on these things as that is why the listing is so low in the first place.

Is that a paper back copy, Chris? Well, enjoy your new book. Mine has a fair amount of math in it. Nothing I haven't seen before, but I wonder if the paperbacks are as comprehensive.
