Hi all,
I just finished documenting my latest build: a remote control, rechargeable, programmable Laser Ball. I think this is a great community and wanted to share it with everyone.

I put together a music video and full Instructable, check it out!

"Unfortunately, this SME-music-content is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the respective music publishing rights."

SERIOUSLY WTF GERMANY?

That's pretty awesome, but almost a shame to do with 5mw red lasers.

Make one in a chrome plated sphere with 5mw green lasers!

Great concept. Looks like you put a lot of work in there.
I think you should have gone with 5mW modules in green, violet, and red.

That sir... is badass.

and for the people saying use green.. Well, if you watched the video, you'd see how much the reds were to stuff in the ball. greens that are 3x longer would never work heh. Though it'd be awesome with 405.. or better yet, the new single mode 450's. This really has to be kept under 5mW since if you have to use goggles.. it kind of defeats the purpose.

To the people saying to use red and violet, or any other color for that matter, wouldn't they require different voltages? or do they make violet modules that run at the same voltage as reds?

Nice work I have always thought about putting LEDS in a tennis ball but putting lasers in is an amazing idea. Such a neat job you have done there! Good job :)
