Trying to do any laser related stuff while drunk

Okay people... Who has ever tried to get into any laser related stuff while drunk AND what have you detroyed?
Reason I ask this is that you (I) apparently get so high selfconfidence and want to try out diffrent stuff while under the influence..

List of what I've detroyed:
-Numerous # of LPC-815 diodes
-Couple of PHR diodes

Thats MY list (for now, hehe...)

Don't do that..

It's hard when my livingroom is also my workroom (= my laser related stuff is always in some corner of the room)

I didn't actually brag about it. I simply asked who has destroyed what laser while being under the INFLUENCE...

Sorry, but that big smile after the sentence in your OP shows that you thought it was fun (not to mention the "giggle" at the end of it). You appear to be quite proud of your ability to avoid injury while risking your and/or others' sight

Plus, you asked others to share their stories. You even called the members here "lame" because we didn't have any funny stories about drunk lasing to entertain you with.

Talking about it like this makes NooB's and neophytes think that it is "cool" to drink and lase

It is NOT "fun." It is one of the most dangerous things you can do with a laser. People do things under the influence of alcohol that they would not do when sober. Alcohol and lasers above 5mW are a recipe for injury and/or blindness.

I do not think of my knowing how to handle lasers (with properly safety glasses and all!) like some kind of ability as you say...

I merely ask has somebody like me (with safety glasses and all) tried or had the impulse to try and experiment with lasers under the influence of some kind of substance such as alchol.

And lastly I am sorry if somebody took offence by the word "lame"...

Now you are adding stuff hoping not to sound so "lame" yourself

How about if we just leave it with; Alcohol and lasers >5mW are not an acceptable combination.
