lol harsh but it had to be said.[/quote]
Agreed. After reading all of those horror stories of people getting bad units and Techlasers never responding, the noobs around this forum need to know that TL is a good way to lose money![/quote]

At the risk of getting flamed for stating an honest opinion, I have to say this is why I'm more inclined to believe that there definitely is a "bias" going on in this forum with regards to companies. You buy a product, you receive it and if something is wrong, you get it replaced. If the replacement is also defective, then get a refund and buy somewhere else. Comments like this sound more like they ran over someone's cat or killed their dog. :D

In my case, tech replied and I got my defective unit replaced. I'm not gonna cry like a baby just because I had to send it back for a replacement. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has bought from TL or from any other company for that matter that had to go through the unlucky experience of returning a defective laser.

I'd go for a group buy to save extra money anytime. My only advice with buying from TL is stick with the CNI units.

That's one thing.But another fact is that they don't test their lasers.Which would be ok if they wouldn't make a whole lot of promises they obviously can't keep since they don't know what their sending you because they're not testing it.The promises they make can also be seen as false advertising.I personally haven't ordered from them so I shouldn't have the right to express an opinion about them, because I wouldn't know what I'm talking about, right? Right! Except for the fact that I have enough knowledge to figure that the Crossfire-600 with a 100% duty cycle is BullSh!t*bullsh!t[sup]2(bullcr@p+bullsh!t)[/sup]+bullcr@p[sup]e[/sup], and I don't need unsatisfied customers,people's reviews or a biased forum to tell me that.So there you go: false advertising = bad.It's a fact. ::)

Well I was only referring to their infiniti series so I can't say anything about the crossfire. I can't afford one (yet). Maybe I'll go ask their customer support about it to get some answers.

An air-cooled 600mW laser? Get fucked Techlasers.
Actually it's supposed to be a heat-sink cooled 600mW laser ::) 100% duty cycle too ::)

The thing that doesn't make sense is that TL is organizing the group buy. Why would a company discount prices if 25 people order, even though TL will ship the units out? How is it cheaper for TL to do a "group buy" than just sell them in their store? Something just doesn't add up here.

Cause otherwise they won't sell 25 units ::)
