Targus Tripod

I was shopping at Walmart and was going through the electronics section by the cameras and I saw these:





They were $8.77 and our tax here is only 8.8% bringing the total price to $9.54. It is a very nice tripod that can handle a heavy laser.



The legs extend a few inches.



I have two of the Survival Laser tripods and they are great but can't handle too much weight, but the clamps they come with are great to use on another tripod.



Here is the Targus tripod with a heavy laser that runs on two 18650, the SL tripod is unstable with this laser on it but the clamp from the SL tripod works great.



That is my best laser so here is a beam shot too.



I have to be so careful with that thing, I only had it on long enough to take the photo and it left a scorch mark on the door!



So the Targus tripod with the SL clamp is great for larger heavier lasers and the SL tripod is great for smaller hosts like a C6. That one on the left is my new PL520.



I strongly recommend everyone have one or more tripods, always have both hands free when operating your laser or put it in a tripod. Never hold your laser with one hand and take photos with the other hand. And remember: Safety first, wear your goggles.

A quarter of my electronics table is a odd assortment of about 20 tripods. Can never have to many. Always nice to add a face to a name as well.

that screw joint on top of it should also fit directly to the screw hole on laserbtb PL hosts. I have one just like that and it screws right in.

Nice tripods instead if clip holder I fond some adjustable Canti lever holders on eBay going to try those tripods with my holders awesom.
