Hey everyone,
This is my first thread, however I would like to get some help on possibly putting a different clickie in my beautiful MS-SSW. I have done quite a bit of research, and have found one that I think I can make work. Here is a LINK to the item found on fleabay. This particular one is a momentary. I did find the same thing with on, and off. My real question other than the obvious modifications to the tailcap with wiring, drilling and such is. will the current draw and or diode be effected by the led that is present in the switch? The draw at the back is 1.89A. I'm excellent at making things work, just don't know if the led will effect the diode and driver.

Judging by the number of pins it has, the LED is powered separately. The operation of the driver would not be effected, but you do need to run at least one more wire to the switch.

These switches are also available directly from Mouser. I get overnight shipping from them, as I have one in my town. You will have to wire it up, and the switch's current draw will shorten your discharge times, but surely not by much. I was thinking about the same one in green.
Now, if you can fit that switch into the original switch cover, then ya got something. It just won't stand on it's ass.

I can make it fit very well. There are some with a m25x1 threaded end that's 2mm smaller than host hole. I'll keep everyone posted when it arrives from OMG snail mail. I will include detailed install. I was going to have the led wired parallel with the switch so they would be on at the same time. Hopefully this wouldn't burn up the led in the switch with 1.89amps. I'm thinking most of the load would go through path of switch. The wiring diagram shows on(led on) and off(led off) as an option. I don't care if I burn up the switch so much, just not my pretty ms-ssw.
Thanks for the info!
