Read, study, learn, and pay attention to the veterans around here.

Get the goggles and treat the laser with the respect that you would a loaded gun. Safety cannot be over emphasized. Even the lower mW's are very dangerous.

Curious, why do you "need" a high powered laser?

Oh, and welcome aboard.

Let me ask you a question... you're experienced with guns I presume...

Would you just hand a shotgun to a guy who's never held one?

Or would you want him to learn a bit first? Perhaps to show that he's committed to using guns safely... watching his line of fire? Keeping his finger off the trigger?

Refer to my signature, everything you need to start learning is there.

The other reason why no one is giving you a direct answer is because this question is asked ad nauseum... a quick look around the forum and you'll find everything you need.;)

just give advice which manufacturer is better in 1W lasers

Oorrr, go do some research yourself and stop asking people here to spoonfeed you? At least then you will have some insight into the damage and responsibility of a high powered laser.

Please buy goggles. I learned my lesson yesterday.. My 1.2W reflected on a mirror onto my eyes (fortunately, I had goggles) andvI was instantly flashed for a couple of minutes and then it dissappeared. If I wouldnt have had goggles; I wouldnt have had eyes now.

to a starter i would recommend 22LR gun or airgun. just because to learn how to shoot in target and to get used to recoil. but in lasers you dont need it. plus i live in city where are no high buildings and many people. that means there is no danger to blind someone. i just want laser to burn things, and make bright beam in the air.
for example, i am biker. and i am riding 1000cc sportbike. i learned riding on 600cc and in few days went with 1000. if you know a little bit about bikes you know what i am talking about.
same with lasers. i had 50mw laser(amazon) an of course thats not real 50mw. couldnt even heat anything. i know what is safety and if you can give me advice i will be glad.
thats all i wanted tos ay. sorry for my bad english.

I'm glad we're on the same page.

If you want a good quality laser that will last you a while, go with survivallaser.com you can also buy eagle pair goggles from there while you're at it :)
