Haha, today i opened my spanish book to the front page when I noticed for the first time this logo. Now whenever I open my book, my mind will ponder over the brilliance of lasers! Im effed in that class for sure now. :thinking:

And a common one at that. But not much longer of course...As diodes drop in price due to more efficient machinery...SF AW's will be like charcoal soon enough.

I can't wait for the day the 8x's become charcoal to us :p

I was walking in school and a kid in front of me had his initials on his backpack. They were LPF.

I can't wait for the day the 8x's become charcoal to us :p

Oh god yeah, and that actually wont be too long. 8x's are starting to become the most common enthusiast diodes, and some of our members already are in the possession of 12x's. This is going to just keep progressing...and soon enough a 16 year old will be able to purchase a 20x 3W laser for about 400$, which means US customs are going to heighten also 0.0 Interesting to see hows the future turns out :whistle:

Most definitely, First it was the 5mw laser that a hobbyist could mess with, "ohhh pretty beam/dot". At about this time its now the beam/dot, and being able to burn a few things things "ooooohh FIRE". In the next decade itll come to harming people, enviroment, objects etc...
eventually having a laser will be like having a gun.

I remember when PS3 diodes/PHR-803T's where all the rage.
