By replying to a spammer, the spammer simply wins. His post keeps arriving at the top of the new posts list. Let's just let that post get buried under NEW more relevant and informative threads until Admin has a chance to remove/close the improper post.

I totally agree with that. I find it kinda fun to post and see what people post in those threads. The mods will eventually delete it.

Agree, and since all the mods stopped being mods, this is our way of taking care of spammers. DROWN THEIR SHITTY THREADS WITH PICS. :eek: ;D

Man, I keep on forgetting that there are no more mods here, I'm so used to thinking "The Mods will take care of this"

Because legal issues that cold had, the main problem was that mods were the ones posting it.

I still think that the other remaining moderaters should be reinstated, as long as they dont do something like that again shouldn't it be fine, i mean the one who was causing it has already been banned.

Sorry but I think we are missing the point. Even if there is no admin to deal with it, post more in the non spam threads and then the "top 20" will not include the spammer anymore. I don't care how many mods work the site, if the members all see spam as crap and don't acknowledge it,,,, then it falls to the wayside and proper topics rise to the top again.

Simple math, the top 20 is what users make it, if the spam goes unanswered, then it gets buried until admin take it to the curb

You do have a good point there. If nobody posts in it it will just fall to the next page so it doesn't clog up the first page. I really do miss moderators here, to be honest I don't even know the story of why there are no mods. So spam probably won't be deleted because it will be on the second page by the time an admin comes around, but I guess it doesn't really matter because nobody will see it on the other pages anyway.
