Greeting Laser pointer forums!

I have a curiosity question I hope you can help me with..........


I want to get a small laser to point in the direction of two sensors. Basically pointing in a line of whatever line the two sensors are on.


(saying it again in a different way to explain better)

Sensor 1 would be "X"
Sensor 2 would be "Y"



"X" ------------------- "Y"​

The laser pointer would then continue the line to the left and right of X and Y.


Seem very simple yet I am still trying to work out the basics and equipment.

accomplish...:thinking:

Can you tape a laser pointer to sensor 1 and point it at sensor 2?

Or, point a line generator laser pointer at the point between 1 and 2, then rotate the laser along the axis that the laser beam is on, until both sensors are hit?

What exactly is this for?

I really like it when Noobs come to the Forum without introducing
