Searching for "half-line" mini laser module.

Hello all - I'm new to this forum, and come humbly seeking help from those more experienced in this field.

I need a mini laser line module for a tool I'm putting through a very limited production run. 650nm, 5mW mini line modules will work fine, and seem readily available in the 45° range I need. What I can't find however, is a module with a lens that creates a line 45° to one side of center, or half of a 90° spread if you will.

I know they are available, as I have one I harvested from an old cheap laser level years back, but I can't find such a module available on it's own.

Ideally a red line in the 650-660nm range would work, though this is a bit flexible. Size is critical - a 9x22mm may work, but 8x13mm would be much much preferred if I could find such a thing. And I'm looking for a self contained unit with any circuitry built in (either internal or a board on the backside would work) so that it could be wired directly to a ~3v battery and switch.

And of course cheap would be a bonus too. I'm currently using a standard 45° spread module mounted in an angled holder, but space is tight and if I could find one with a lens that allowed me to mount the barrel straight an get a 45° Below center line that would be fantastic.

Why not angle an existing 45° module 22.5° to one side?

That's how I have it set up currently, and it works. With size issues however (primarily height of the holder block being in line of sight for setup), the old one I robbed from a laser level is much nicer with the lower profile allowed by aligning the barrel straight. It just seems odd that this type of 45°off center lime is obviously being made, as they are common in cheap laser levels, but seem unavailable as stock modules on their own.

I may just have to buy a bunch more of these cheap laser levels and rob the modules from those I suppose.
