I'll start with a little backstory.

The people in my area have always been a little odd, one such person is the 40-60 year old crossdresser who lives behind my house (about 90-120ft away maybe) who I've seen standing at a window staring into my room a lot, I'm 15.
I've always been intimidated by this guy but never had to do anything about him.

Until now, he just shined a green laser into my room and that sparked off memories of him doing it a couple years ago too, I'd forgotten about that till now but anyway. Laser dot was pretty bright on my wall maybe 3-4 inches across? At first I figured "Oh well someone probably pressed the button by accident and it hit my wall, no big deal" then about 30 seconds later it happens again and this time I see a thin stream of green light streaming through to the dot. At this point I freak out and basically hit the floor before it hits me in the face, army shuffled across my room, flicked the light off, boom bright beam, I freak out more and army shuffle to my curtains, close them and run back to turn the light on. So now that leaves me where I am now, freaking out anytime I stand up for fear it was a gun-sight laser.

So what do I do, I'm not able to confront the guy because he's a freak, my parents wont believe me and neither will the police. I'm pretty much left with the option of ignoring it and hoping he stops.

I still want my own laser but I'll wait until next year when I turn 16, by then I feel my parents will trust me more to be safe with what I buy.

I'd just go to his door and ask him to stop or else you will have the police investigate it.
You can always snap a picture and catch him in the act.

Creepy... Id put a cam in your window, something that doesn't look like a cam, somehow concealed.

Even a webcam and run it into your PC.. Leave it recording for days if needed. Get your
evidence, and file a police report..

Best of luck.

Take a video of the beam, and where it is coming from, as evidence. Show your parents and police.

Have you told your parents, or is this an assumption?

I wrote that wrong sorry, they believe me but they don't see why I see this as a problem, which is understandable considering they don't really know how odd he is.

I doubt I'll get raped but I will watch out for the next couple of nights and see if he does it again, if he does I'll either stick a sign up or try to get a video.

Going alone to his house is a very VERY bad Idea!
I would just get a camera and take pics of what hes doing to your room/you for proof to show your mom/dad/police.

I would ask myself, why is he targeting you? What are his intentions? Just because the guy
wears a dress, does not mean he is harmless.

I would be very cautions with a grown man paying special attention to you.

People like John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer are prime examples why certain things
should not be taken lightly.. You just never know.

Afraid I don't know the guys name, most interaction I've had with him was passing him on the path while I was out one day with friends. I wont do anything stupid, I don't have a webcam but I'm in my room 80% of the time when I'm at home so I'll keep my phone on hand in case he does it again. Thanks for the tips guys.

Also does anyone know where I can get a cheap-ish true 1-5mW green? I'd rather not have to pay Laserglow prices and I don't want to risk overspec but I'd like something just for general use.

Have you considered dancing in front of your window wearing only your underwear! That is what I would do...

^this

Or you could scare him away with a bigger, better laser
:lasergun:
Yelling "mine is bigger than yours!" is optional.

You may be onto something here... Though I wouldnt suggest underwear...

The op needs to try and see if this weirdo uses binoculars.. If yes, have a friend over
and stage a murder.. Would give him something to think about.

If he has binoculars, sit and stare at him with a telescope :tinfoil: With a mounted laser guide on it.
