This is the one I ordered: DTR Sharp 505

It says "New" Sharp 505 but I dont see a part/model number listed.

The one I got from him was an SB147EC91, which was the longer wavelength version around 510nm. The other, the SB1473N91/SB1573N91 is the shorter of the two at about ~502nm.

If you look at the driver it's paired with, you can see it isn't case positive. It is still new insofar as they haven't been out for a year yet, but I suspect that diode is the SB147EC91. I have measured the wavelength of many of that iteration and they were all around 510nm.

Regardless, it should be a neat color. I've only seen one video of a laser with that diode in it and it had a nice cyan-ish tint to it, although that could be the camera.

I'm curious now, how do you measure the actual wavelength?

The best and most accurate way to measure a laser diode's wavelength is with a good, calibrated spectrometer. These are not cheap at all. If you are curious, look up spectrometers on eBay for the used prices.

Just ordered my 505nm w /G7 lens. I look forward to photographing as part of a 10 frequency rainbow.

When I get the 505 Ill have an even more complete rainbow haha. All I need is an orange laser. Wonder if we'll ever see orange diodes?

To me, the ~510-520 range is definitely still green but without any tinges of the yellow that 532 has.
I can tell a difference between ~510 and ~520 without them side by side but it is not drastic. Definitely not pushing cyan, just an IMO much nicer, purer, green. Now throw one next to a 532, and either that 532 will look much more yellowish, or the 510-520 may appear more cyan. I think the only camera I have seen catch the color well is the one on the samsung galaxy s8.

Honestly, I think it is hard to go wrong with these green diodes regardless of which one you choose so long as you are happy with the output power and beam specs of the diode in question.

My 502nm laser is pushing cyan, but my 495nm is definitely blue/green. I sure was hoping that my Nano Boost Driver that was scheduled for delivery today had arrived, but it didn't. Man, it's taking as long as if I had ordered it from China to get to me.
