This laser is a completely unbiased forum we are run by no company. The reason you hear such good appraisal about Nova Lasers is because they are a good company and put out lasers that are up to spec, and regularly above specs. you will also find alot of other companies that are highly talked abouto on here such as laserglow and others.

Spammers ? Spammers get booted off the forum - take some time and read stuff on here ! You will find that I support them wholeheartedly, but the comments are much more than spam - spamming to me (and most others) consists of no info posts - like Buy Wicked, they Roxor ! or something similiar

Yeah dude, you shouldn't make such remarks without ACTUALLY knowing what you talking about.
This (and CPF) is one of the last, big forums that are completely ubiased, which is nice, and I hope it stays this way.

I bought from Nova Lasers based on recomendations on this forum and couldnt be happier. However if you dig through and find my posts you'll notice quite a few companies were recomended.

No different that if you go to a exotic sports car forum and ask what type of car to get and 30 people say a PORSCHE!!!!! Its not cause they are run by porsche they are just really well made cars.

Now you can tell when a forum is controled by a company because they will actually delete, edit, ban or anything else they can come up with, any post related to but not limited to, other companies, discussion about a broken laser from thier co., negative feedback about the company.

yea, if you are over on the LC and you happen to say something like WL's lasers are crap, you would probably get banned for eternity, but on this forum, that's your personal opinion. i hope i didn't offend anyone?
on this forum, you can talk about any laser company, wether it's good or bad(to some extent), and you will be fine!

I'm just wondering, is this forum run by nova lasers? I see many people asking about their products and even a link with their discount yet there are no obvious banners and stuff.  maybe nova is a really good laser company so everyone is writing about them? maybe they just have alot of spammers here??

c0ldshadow can answer that question, not any of us...why would you think automatically that Nova would put up banners here ? Guys -(and gals) THIS is how rumors with no substance get started, and unless you hear from c0ldshadow in black and white (depending on your view settings of course !) then it does not exist.

no dude this isnt just a rumor ive been emailing them, and they said that they are finishing up some banners that they are putting up on a few "laser forums".

they offered the one in my avatar, and i would just have to guess this one, since the laser community is owned by wicked lasers.

but anyway, its not just a rumor that im starting, i have some "substance" to it.


but youre right c0ldshadow would know for sure.

lol sure i suppose, but from what i gathered, they just wanted to put up some banners on forums that already had a bunch of members.

maybe they want to make their own forum, but theyd have to start from no members, and build up.

plus theyd be like wicked lasers, and have their own forum run and controlled by one company...

yes they offered to have banners put up on the spectra forum. we could use the little extra money for some more contests, and possibly get a few more members.

but idk about this forum, they just said "we are planning on offering a few forums to put up banners advertising our site".

so i guess you could assume this site, and i pmed c0ldshadow about it a few days ago, but i dont know.

i think that they might make their own forum though, because look at the good its doing wicked lasers! it may not seem like a very good thing for us who just like laser in general, but for them, theyre making money mainly on the first time people only, who have never bought a laser before, and see things like "most powerful handheld laser ever" on the wicked laser homepage.

they automatically assume that its true. but what about the hercules from laserglow, or the hades. those are rated more powerful, and more stable in most cases.

but i dont really know that much about it, just that we are going to put up some NOVA banners on the spectra forum soon.
