Bought a 200 mw green laser from them last fall.

It burned up after like 2 months, and i stuck to the 30 seconds on 5 seconds off duty cycle.

It cost me 29 dollars to send it back to china to get it fixed.

Im then told that "i burnt it up" and that "its no good anymore" but that they were able to "sell it back to the manufacture for $39 dollars"

I was given a new deal to get a focusable 200mw for like 90 dollars, or a replacement for 39.

paid 135 for the original
added 29 to send it back
total 164 dollars.

And now i have nothing.

And they never reply to emails, until like 4 months later.

Stay far away!

That is a bit weird Rayfoss is known as one of the more reputable companies. Btw you posted in the wrong section... There is a specific reviews section

Rayfoss is a trusted company here... maybe if you put the thread in the right section, provided some evidence (pictures maybe?) and took the time to fix grammar / punctuation etc., then I would take you seriously.

I don't want to seem mean or anything but if you really want to affect peoples' opinions on Rayfoss, you may want to spend a little more time supporting your argument.

Same here. They don't always reply right away, but they always say (at any company) "1-3 business days" I maybe sent a total of 4 emails to them, asking about the laser it self, and letting them know I got my stuff. I got replys a day later after each email.

Only issue i had with rayfoss is a LED frying. And it seems I'm not the only one. I did send them an email to have them make sure they arnt over powering the LEDs...Hope for a reply Monday :)

What is the warranty period on your laser supposed to be, was it more than 2 months?
If so, it might be that you bought your laser from the original "rayfoss" and the company that bought their business/ company name & domain; "Qualifound" may not be wanting to honor the original rayfoss warranty.
Around the 1st of this year, Qualifound bought them out and qualifound knows nothing about lasers, they are just a dropshipper that dropships many different cheap electronics product lines besides lasers.
This why when you go to rayfoss.com, it take you to the qualifound site. It's also paret of the reason that when you place an order, there is not a real shopping cart, they email you back a day or two later with a paypal e-invoice that will usually only say "goods" for the product description rather than any details of what you're buying. They are not the same rayfoss company from the past, they have made big changes. a couple of the support people are the same, but the ownership & management have changed.
You might mention to them that you have posted on the LPF about your anger with them, perhaps that will get them to honor their warranty.
