So should I remove the tin foil? Or just scruple it up so it dosent touch the case.

If you want to use foil as a spacer put it up the other end of the batteries then it won't short anything out.

Just a thought...you are puting the batteries the right way round? negative to the front (spring) end of the laser. :-/

hello i want to ask about flexdrive.... i have found some info about dr lava drive - flexdrive ''V3'' in buy sel section, it looks like the greatest driver ever...
so, i know how it is working, how many V i will need for red or BR, which batteries i can use etc.. but what about flexdrive ''V2''.. i havent found info about it...
i would like to know diferences because i want to buy BR modul and there are 2 options...
1st is with rkcstr driver
2nd is with flexdrive V2
it seems for me that flexdrive could be better for my purpose but i cannot decide as i know nothing about V2 driver..

does V2 and V3 works same????
thanx guys

You may not be able to fix it, but i'm not sure.

Also, I see your lasers are from ebay. Ebay lasers are genrally rated at peak power, so a 300mW may avg 75, if your lucky. Their lasers over 10mW are genrally pot-modded 5mW lasers. If you terrific quality lasers buy fom Novalasers or laserglow.

If you use the flexdrive, they don't.
You can input 3 volts (two AAA batteries), and the driver will boost it up to 5V.
