I super duper rarely take out my lasers
i have dragon cases for them but still
not much to do with them outside the house

DX keychain lasers will for barely any time on a set of batteries (I thought it was something like 1-2 minutes). If you want a good pocketable laser get a CNI, like from www.novalasers.com . I take my X105 everywhere and it fits perfectly in my pocket, it's like a pen. If you can fit a cell phone in your pocket you can easily put a CNI in your pocket.

Since WHEN were the Dragon cases originally $49.99 ? Geesh - this is nuts !!!
Sorry for the OT !
Back on target - I carry around lasers with me all the time - the only ones that will nto really fit comfortably in the pocket are the PGL-III type of lasers, RPL's, Hercules, and some others - but the CNI pen-style (X-series, and even Alpha series) can fit in the pocket with no issues.
