Hello,
I am new on this forum and new in powerful lasers. I was looking for a cheap and powerful laser and I've found a cheap "3W" made-in-china laser pointer from OXLasers for 195$. It's real average output power is 2000mW. Pack contains safety glasses, 2 batteries with a charger and a case. Shipping to my country - Poland - is for free.

Is it worth buying? Are there any hidden disadvantages? On the website there are 30 opinions about it, it's rated on 5 and there were 28 orders of the laser - but I don't trust them and wanted know some experienced people' opinion.

Here is a link to the shop: Aliexpress.com : Buy 445nm 1000mw 3000mW metal cased 5in1 burning focusable blue laser pointer (5 star caps) with free safety glasses+Free Shipping from Reliable case free suppliers on OXLasers's Online Official Flagship Store

Thanks in advance for answer ;)

For a 445 (blue) laser, definitely buy from a member here. The quality will be world better for the same price, not to mention that the product will be up to spec and come with better customer service.

You can check out the buy/sell/trade section. If you want a new laser, you can go to Blord, TheJoker301 (his site is sflasers.us), or RickTrent, or several other members. You may get a little better price on a used one in the b/s/t section though.

Also, it would help us to give advice if you list your location in your profile. Welcome to the forum, have fun, and be safe! (you've got safety glasses and realize the dangers of a laser this powerful, right??)

The link you gave would be a Total roll of the dice greatly in favor of disappointment. Definitely wouldn't waste your money. The only way to go for a laser like that imo is the buy sell trade section. Good luck.

Looks like another Arctic laser knockoff. Good things to tell its less than reputable is the fact that it comes with cheapo generic safety glasses, batteries, and battery charger.
