I question the videos authenticity. The whole thing could be staged to demonstrate how you can get into a zippered bag.

I know I'm :horse: but I've flown dozens of times with my lasers(without the batteries in) and TSA doesn't seem to care about them. Ok but what if the agent just wanted to steal the laser? Would he leave a note? I donno

Down with: yeah it was probably staged, but who knows they probably knew it was Kip Kay and thought it would be funny to steal his laser.

Best. Prank. Ever!
Another qualm with the video is he didn't remove the batteries. If you're going to demonstrate packing a bag with lasers at least start with the basics..

Calm down, everyone. Remember Hanlon's razor: Never attribute to malice that which can be attributed to stupidity.

I have that same host, at least, I think it is, that I bought from another member but have not used it yet. I wanted to put an aixiz module in it, but it doesn't appear to be the size I need, a bit big. Can you help me figure this out?

Nope. No matter how much you hate him, I hate him more than you do. He needs to stop instructing people to blind themselves.

Is it a module Build host? Or is that a host that the diode gets pressed directly into the heat sink?

I've taken a photo of it, maybe the piece with the lens screwed into it is meant for a press fit and if removed, a module? The reason I didn't think it was for a module is it won't fit tightly, but the set screw will indeed hold it in. Perhaps that was how you designed it. It will hold the module without a problem, but thinking I am doing something wrong or it was designed for something else with the small gap. Maybe the small gap is to allow heat sink material of some kind?
