you scare me with your creativeness

im not sure if thats sarcasm but its sad there are people ignorant enough to think taking a dvd diode and sticking it into the front of a flashlight is creative, and watching the video of how to do it :wtf:

I believe if someone from this forum were to write a comment on his Youtube video talking about how stupid he was for the aiming the laser towards his face, explaining the dangers of that action and why safety glasses should have been worn, we could all 'thumbs up' the comment and it'll appear at the very beginning of all the rest. That way, we'll spread a little word to everyone entering the contest and maybe Kipkay will notice it himself and say something (probably not).

Might not work though, since their are no comments like that right now at the top of the list, but that might also be because people comment it so fast, no one's is actually thumbs up-ed.

What do you guys think?

Edit: Just noticed I was a little late. The contest is already over, but maybe it'd do some good to do that ^ anyway.

It might have a bigger affect than what you think. People love reading comments but kipkay doesn't. Well at least we're saving people's eye sight rather than saving kipkays reputation.

i have read this thread with interest, while i know nothing about the tech side of lasers or the ones talked about in this thread, i do know enough not to point lasers near the eyes and about how with things like lasers or even guns my main hobby comes a measure of responsability.there is always someone willing to ban or take away the more risky type hobbys and it takes little excuse to get those folks fired up. on top of that when you are a member on forums and you use irresponsable behaviour away from those forums with that same hobby you risk bringing that forum into disrepute too. there is also a warning on here about misuse of the rep system, to my eyes this sort of behaviour would bring at least a warning or a ban if it happened on the website i run for my airgun club. at all times you are responsable for the safety of those around you when you show somthing as iresponsable as shining a laser near the face or putting it into something that makes it little more than a novelty toy.
