Really? I see it all the time.

Hey no problem. I try to keep it clean because I thought it was frowned upon because of the kids, and us trying to act professional.

The avatar is an expresion of yourself, I don't think anyone should blame him for it.

Btw, Tech_Junkie, I've never seen anyone saying anyone to not use the word "fuck" here. It would be different if he said "fuckyour mother", but "huge fucking laser"?. Also, I'm very impresed on how many meanings does this word have and how many times it's said in a normal conversation between young people.

Just my 2 cents :p

Watch how many other cursing avatars will pop up now. It only takes 1 to start it.

I thought this forum was above this but now I see why we have lost a pile of veteran members. Who the hell wants to hang around kindergarten kids?

I'm not offended but I think it's rather childish and inappropriate. Like TJ I have seen many people being flamed for swearing here and I don't think you should continue having that avatar.

Yeah but this is a tech forum, not gamer, or music forum. Actually I have been on music forums and hard language was never tolerated. Besides the "rules' to this forum includes not to post anything offensive.

Like I said earlier, it doesn't offend me, but it will others, like the techs. If there are no techs, there is no forum. If you had not noticed the main gripe the techs have is having to deal with childish behavior.

I too find it inappropriate but I am over 40. I'll bet 80% of the members here are under 18 so they take no offense.
